I wrote the anonymous listing on the 9th June .Unfortunately tried to make other posts but had problems with my computer.

Well the doctor didnt turn up 26  June for the appointment nor contact me to cancel. I was told he was well known, for this and was going to be disciplined. I was told it would be given to another Doctor,more stress more worry. I eventually had my medical on 7 August and today received my decision.Mobility stays the same and care component reduced to the lower rate.

The doctor was very pleasant although seemed more worried that he had to fill in a lot of information on the form ,he kept moving on without listening or letting me say what i wanted to ,ie night sweats leg cramps in the night occasional incontinence {not that often thankfully},Hypoglycaemia of which i had had 40 in the previous 3 months. I did correct him when he said that i only needed help about once a month, but do not as yet know what he has put in his report. I need help from my part time carers a lot of the time especially when i have weeks of bad health.

I am going to ask for a copy of the medical report but dont know whether I have the strength or mental capacity to appeal . But I will certainly let the DLa know that I was quite unsatisfied with the way the doctor tried to put words in my mouth and not let me say what i needed to say. When he asked me if i had anything else to say he was already standing up and ready to leave and by this time i was a mental wreck and glad it was over
