"If I have been accused of not listening in the past, I'm listening and I'm learning all the time" - Gordon Brown 30th April 2008

Letter received this morning from Mr. Gordon Brown's office at 10 Downing Street.

Listening, Caring Mr Brown

Who is Mr Brown listening to I wonder? Is he really in touch with with people in this country today I wonder. I appreciate he is a busy man being Prime Minister but surely after the debacle of the 10p tax cut and with fellow Govt ministers being wheeled out to say they are learning and listening all the time, then you would have thought he could have sent a proper response rather than passing the buck to the DWP. Are they listening and are they learning as well? Or do they only hear what they want to hear.

Thanks.

Maybe the DWP will keep No. 10 in the loop on the response?
