Further to the previous entry "HIV/AIDs current DWP figures posted as a comment by Kevin".

He is provided me with the full DWP figures across all disabilities up to February 2008.

Of interest as is demonstrates the extremely low percentage of claims in relation to all other disability claims. Also it is fair to note that it is likely that where HIV/AIDS in not listed by the claimant as their primary illness for the claim this will not appear as a AIDS statistic rather under the primary illness.

Update of DLA claimants & new of DWP backlog

Dear All,

I have contacted the DWP about the last figures on DLA claimants, there a backlog of work at the moment due to restructuring of prodecures and systems in place regarding the transfer of data between internal/external organstions/companies, which provide the data they need.

I post any details once availble.
